The middle school students at Penn View Christian School are thrilled to present this special adaptation of the classic Broadway musical, which tackles the universal theme of tradition in ways that reach across barriers of race, class, nationality, and religion.
In the little village of Anatevka, a poor dairy man, Tevye (Tim Kennel) with the help of his wife, Golde (Mia Hershberger) try to instill the traditions of their tight-knit Jewish community into their five daughters (Mikayla Frederick, Alexa Kennel, Lauren Ness, Candace Landis, & Sydney Leaman) while confronting changing social values and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia.
Fiddler on the Roof Jr. features songs loved the world over, including “Tradition”, “If I Were a Rich Man”, and “Sunrise, Sunset”.
